Seven Reasons to Sing and Ring

Scripture admonishes us to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord, come into His presence with singing." 

It also tells us that if we don't sing praises to the Lord, "the rocks and trees will praise Him." Maybe the question should really be, "why aren't I singing or ringing in the choir??" 

Or better yet, why should I sing in the choir? 

• Because you love the Lord 
• Because you love music 
• Because you love to sing or ring 
• Because you want to grow spiritually and musically 
• Because you want to be part of a loving, caring family 
• Because you want to be a worship leader 
• Because you don't really want to have to listen to the trees outside the church sing! 

Whether you haven't sung or rung with the Choir or Hand Bells in a while of have always wanted to, but have been nervous to join, come join us in rehearsal any Wednesday night. Hand Bells ring from 6-6:45pm and the choir sings from 7-8:15pm in the sanctuary. We'd love to have you be a part of our choir and Hand Bell family! Contact any choir member or Hand bell ringer, Janet, or the church office for more information. 

The choirs are very special ministries in our church, making a significant contribution to our worship life. If you love the Lord and if you love music, we'd love to have you in one of our choirs. 

Hand Bell Rehearsal start September 3rd, Wednesdays, 6-6:45pm 

Choir Rehearsals start August 27th, Wednesdays, 7-8:15 p.m. 

We generally sing for the 9:00 Worship Service, occasionally for both. At least two major choral events are sung each year, one near Christmas and one on Palm Sunday.
