My name is Darla Phelps. I joined House of Prayer on July 5, 2007 as the Administrative Assistant. Prior to coming to House of Prayer, I worked for 3 years in the Realty business part time after moving to Escondido. I was an Executive Assistant for a realtor and then went on to become a Transaction Coordinator for the office. My husband Tim and I lived in San Diego before moving to Escondido 5 years ago. We have 3 grown children and one grandson. All of our kids are now living on their own, so we are “empty nesters”. It was difficult at first, but it’s now getting easier all the time!! I retired from AT&T (previously SBC or Pacbell) in 2002. After retiring, I went to work part time as a receptionist in our church in San Diego. I love working at House of Prayer, and hope to be here for a very long time!
